McLaughlin Designs helps companies develop a strategy for meeting for Section 508 and WCAG guidelines. Having a development plan to meet these guidelines ensures that systems work on multiple screen devices including screen readers, handheld and mobile devices.
We are available for evaluating websites and web-based applications for Section 508 and WCAG compliance. As a result of the evaluation, we provide a report that can be used as a basis for any alterations that may be needed and as a secondary record of proof of an evaluation of the system.
Usability
The ease in which someone interacts with a website or web-based application has a direct impact on the success of the system. A positive experience by someone using an online system can result in both increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
A customer’s experience is impacted by the aesthetics of the system, how easily they can perform a task, and how well the system is able to perform the requested tasks. During a usability evaluation, we look closely at each of these layers of the system.
